On Monday, March 23, 2020, Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb issued a supplement to Executive Order 20-02. The supplemental order mandates that certain businesses cease activities within the state.
Best Equipment & Welding (BEW) is engaged in sales, installation and service of truck loading docks, related equipment and metal fabrication/erection. We service food processing facilities, pharmaceutical facilities, water treatment facilities, manufacturing facilities, communications companies, and distribution/warehouse companies both large and small.
According to Section 11 of the Supplemental Executive Order, BEW is legally authorized to continue operations as “Essential Infrastructure,” and therefore exempt from the business closure order. The Executive Order can be found via this link.
In compliance with the Order, Best Equipment and Welding (BEW) will remain open for business on March 24, 2020 and for the foreseeable future. BEW will continue to conduct business operations in accordance with current CDC guidelines, putting first the health and well-being of our workforce.
BEW has responded to the coronavirus situation by implementing several business practices and policies with our team in efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19. This includes use of hand sanitizer before every service stop, daily disinfection of trucks and electronic tools, minimum contact at customer facilities and 6-foot minimum distance guideline for necessary interactions.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact Best Equipment & Welding.
We continue to monitor the situation and take appropriate actions to be responsible community citizens and service our customers.
President, Best Equipment & Welding
